You have noticed that the Tickets are being created with WIN.DAT files attached to it.

Winmail.dat is a compression format of Microsoft Outlook or MS Server, other Email clients/Mailservers can have dificultes to read its content. These attachments (Winmail.dat) will be always coming from outside the SAP system (the way the emails are shown in the UI is the way they reached our backend).

- As the Winmail.dat attachments are created outside the SAP system, then there is nothing that can be done from the SAP side to influence the format of the Winmail.dat attachments.
- To identify problem senders, you should monitor the incoming Emails and if you find an Email with Winmail.dat attachment you may inform the sender about this issue.
