3073640 - Rep Agent keeps "sleeping" and re-starting it doesn't help - SRS 16.0


  • Rep Agent in ASE has the "sleeping" status.
  • Re-starting Rep Agent does not help.
  • ASE errorlog reports the following errors:
    (CI-Info) Message: 1002, Severity: 2 cs_ctx_alloc failure diagnostic data SYBASE: [/opt/sybase/syb16] SYBASE_OCS: [OCS-16_0] LANG: [en_US.UTF-8] 
  • SRS logs reports errors:
    ERROR #85 CI Logger( ) - generic/ci/msgcsum.c(3205)
    ACK thread of Stream 'xxx' will exit due to heartbeat failure(runflag = 7, mstats = 2).
  • Multiple error messages logged in the /opt/sybase/syb16/ASE-16_0/install/sybinit.err file:
    The context allocation routine failed. The following problem caused the failure: Creating a TSD/TLS failed.

  • Both, SRS and ASE run with SAP CI-Library 16.0 SP03 PL08 ONE-OFF EBF 29845.
