Creating a New Sales Order, adding the required information: Account, Sales Unit, Employee Responsible, Items, the error is triggered:

Reproducing the Issue
- Go to the Sales Orders work center.
- Go to the New Sales Order common task.
- Add Account, Sales Unit, Employee Responsible and Items.
- System triggers the error: Postal Code Region Mismatch.
There are some regions in US that shares the same Zip Code, for example - 57645 South Dakota and North Dakota.
System triggers the error, because the Address has the Zip Code for SD (South Dakota) and Vertex has it's done as North Dakota, hence, the error happens.
It's recommended to validate if the Zip Code fits in this scenario (same Zip Code for two different regions in US). After that, it's necessary to reach back Vertex in order to get the details with them.
They will confirm if the address is assigned to one or another Region in US, and so preventing the error to occur again.
