3067377 - Internal Candidates unable to apply for jobs nor save Candidate Profile

Symptom

Internal applicants are getting below error when clicking on the NEXT button or Save button from the candidate profile.

errorId=null, timestamp=null, errorMessage=Error

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management (RCM)

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login to the instance
  2. Access Internal careers portal
  3. Search for any job and click Apply
  4. The internal candidate is redirected to My Candidate Profile tab
  5. Click Next to see below error:

errorId=null, timestamp=null, errorMessage=Error

OR

  1. Login to the instance
  2. Access Internal careers portal
  3. Edit Candidate Profile and click Save to see below error:

errorId=null, timestamp=null, errorMessage=Error

Resolution

Engineering team is currently investigating the issue.

This KBA will be updated with possible workaround or a fix when we have an update from the engineering analysis.


For CPS: the internal server logs mention "Method execution failed: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/apache/xmlbeans/impl/common/SystemCache".
