Symptom

Live Tunnel connection to SAP HANA suddenly stopped working with following error in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

  • Error: We couldn't connect to your HANA system. For more information, see our troubleshooting page.
  • Additional Error in Chrome Network trace: 
    • Status Code: 520 status code 520
    • Failed to connect to remote system with unexpected error:Request cannot be executed; I/O reactor status: STOPPED

Environment

  • SAP Analytics Cloud 2021.7.7

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log on to SAC tenant.
  2. Try to edit one Live Tunnel connection to SAP HANA and then click OK to test.
