3064041 - Intermittent error launching content mentioning getRevisionDate()

Symptom

With courseHome enabled, and starting course an error window occurs with details:
Error message = while trying to invoke the method java.lang.Long.longValue() of a null object returned from com.successfactors.lms.usercourse.client.common.dto.UserCourseActionParamsDTO.getRevisionDate()

Reproducing the Issue

Issue is intermittent for some users, but when launching any structured content course with courseHome enabled receive error.

Cause

UI exception is intermittently caught when rest API is passing URI with some values being empty.

Resolution

Fix targeted to be delivered with the 2105 system version, via the patch 14. Additional details about the patch dates are available in the SAP SuccessFactors Community.

Workaround: make sure to have the third-party cookies enabled in the browser(s) being used, as this is to be playing a part in the “getRevisionDate()” error or disable Course Home, as the rest API is differently called and handled via the UI.
