SAP SuccessFactors Employee Profile
Reproducing the Issue
Our Engineering Team has investigated this issue further and confirmed that the adjustment to the e-mail and social media links is expected behaviour as of the recent 2105 release. This change was implemented in order to make the links easier to see against backgrounds that have a similar colour to the one set for the links themselves, and is permanently tied to SAP Fiori 3.
While this cannot be turned off by any switch in the environment, you can adjust the link colour to something different to the background colour by following the below steps:
- Go to 'Theme Manager'
- Go to the 'Fine Tune' option
- Go to the 'Portlets' section
- Go to the 'body link text colour' and change the colour
This should hopefully make the shadowing less prominent and make the links easier to see. The more different the link colour, the less noticeable the shadowing, particularly less noticeable with brighter colours (e.g. White is more visible than black).
If the customer would like this shadowing to be disabled in the environment, they should contact their Partner or Professional Services so they may untick the 'Enable SAP Fiori 3 theme' in Provisioning. While this would not have any functional side-effects, it would return the Fiori theme to the previous version, and there may be some differences in the UI as a result.
If the customer is not happy with either of these options, they can submit an enhancement request for this to be adjusted in a future patch or release, as per the KBA below:
