3062664 - Internal Private Posting Permission Issue - Recruiting Management

Symptom

When removing only "intranetPrivatePosting" permission in the Job Req template, both Internal and External Private Posting disappear.

Reproducing the Issue

In the Admin Center:

  1. Go to Manage Templates
  2. Recruiting
  3. Select the Job Req template
  4. Remove "intranetPrivatePosting" permission in the Job Req template
  5. Save the changes and publish the template 
  6. Go to Recruiting 
  7. Job Requisitions 
  8. Job Postings
  9. Both Internal and External Private Posting have disappeared

In Provisioning:

  1. Go to Managing Recruiting 
  2. Import/Update/Export Job Requisition Template
  3. Download the Job Req template (we recommend to download it twice and save one copy as a back up)
  4. Remove "intranetPrivatePosting" permission in the Job Req template
  5. Save the template
  6. Reupload the template again
  7. Go to Recruiting in the Admin Center
  8. Job Requisitions 
  9. Job Postings
  10. Both Internal and External Private Posting have disappeared

When removing only "externalPrivatePosting" permission in the Job Req template, both Internal and External private posting appear, but "Post Job" button is available only for Internal (as expected).

Cause

The issue has been categorized as a defect.

Resolution

The issue will be fixed with the b2111 release (Preview: October 15, 2021 and Production: November 19, 2021).
