When executing a query which exists in the statement cache either through a Java prepared statement or standard SQL language request, performance can vary between optimal and poor depending on the search arguments supplied.
This only happens when the server setting "enable literal autoparam" is zero or a Java application specifically turns it off using the LITERAL_PARAM=FALSE connection property.
