3032695 - The story is no longer listed as a "Feature file" after performing a save as on top of a story

Symptom

The following behavior occurs in SAP Analytics Cloud for Planning (SAC):

After selecting a story as a feature file, when saving on top of that story with another copy the story is removed from the feature file even though the storyid and story name has not changed.

Environment

  • SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise) 2021.4.3

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Set the story 'StoryName' as a the feature file on the home page.
  2. Open the story 'StoryName' and perform a save as to another story 'StoryName1' (Clicking the overwrite option) and the storyid stays the same and the story is now titled as StoryName1 on the page.
  3. Performed a save as (using 'StoryName1') on top of the existing 'StoryName' and the  'StoryName' is no longer on the feature page after these steps even though the name is still 'StoryName', no change has taken place in the story and the storyid has not changed.

Cause

This issue is currently under investigation by development.
