3030771 - Viewcount of a Story is set back to 0 after transporting a new version in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

Symptom

  • Viewcount is set back to 0 after transporting a story from one SAC instance to another via content network.
  • The requirement would be to keep the Viewcount when moving a Story version between two different system (for example when moving a Story from Development to Production).

Environment

SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise) 2021.3.5

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Attempt to transfer contents (Story for instance) from one instance to another via Content Network.
  2. Notice that Viewcount of the existing Story is set back to 0 after the transporting procedure. 

Cause

This issue is currently under investigation by development.
