Symptom

HTML tags are displayed in Table Report (ad hoc) based on Recruitment data

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create a new Table report and select the Recruitment domain
  2. Select the columns you want to use in the report
  3. Click on preview or run the report and see that some of the columns are showing HTML tags

Cause

The affected field type is RichText.

Resolution

This is the expected behavior. RichText fields include hidden characters used to define html formatting. These characters cannot be hidden in Table Report.
