3023935 - Unable to purge external user - Onboarding 2.0

Symptom

You have manually deleted your Onboarding process (or process trigger) objects and you are now unable to perform a purge for the external user.

Environment

SAP Successfactors Onboarding 2.0

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Admin Center > Manage Data;
  2. Search for Process or Process Trigger;
  3. Open some of your processes and click in take action > Delete permanently.

Cause

The manual deletion of Onboarding Process (Or process trigger) objects is not advised, since the object has relationships with the External user information and later you'll not be able to inactivate the user.

Resolution

In case that you need to remove any Onboarding user - Please opt for Cancel the Onboarding process. The process cancellation feature will automatically inactivate your external user and will allow you to perform your purge actions.
