Curriculum that has retraining every 2 years, users who have retraining coming up have a strange display showing: ‘remove from library on’ displays and then shows the ‘required by’ date for the item. This message only seems to be appearing for users who have retraining, not for those who need to take the course for the first time or for those who are overdue in taking the course for the first time.

This is a defect introduced during the terminology improvement initiative rolled out during the new admin UI project. When curriculum is completed by the student and curriculum has expiration date, application used to display the message is " Expires : <Expiration date> " . The label that is used for displaying this message is label.Expires. This label value was modified from 'Expires' to 'Remove from Library on" however it is does not work as designed.
As a workaround, Issue can be fixed by navigating to label IDs and finding label.Expires and changing the label value From " Remove from Library On " to " Expires "
Below are the steps:
- Navigate to Learning Administration > References > Manage label
- Search for Label ID: label.Expires
- Under " Locales " tab, Change the label value From " Remove from Library On " to " Expires " .
- Do this on every Active Locale Id.
- Save Changes.
This Issue will be addressed in b2111 ( Second Half 2021 release ) for both preview and production . Please find the most detailed information about Product updates and Product Releases in Customer Community .
The fix will be applied automatically as long as the label value is " Expires " in English and corresponding French value is " Expires " . When the fix goes in it will basically override and just apply the word Expires to it for both languages, that label ID will go from being customized label (as they will change it themselves as workaround) to just out-of-the box word " Expires ".
