When trying to create a calculated key figure AAA using a custom cumulated key figure BBB, you can see the result does not consider the cumulation in the calculation of the key figure AAA.
AAA means key figure ID.
BBB means key figure ID.
SAP Business ByDesign
Reproducing the Issue
- Create key figure AAA and BBB, AAA is based on BBB.
- Apply cumulation on the key figure BBB.
- You’ll see that the key figure AAA shows the result without consider the cumulation of BBB.
- AAA key figure shows a wrong result.
It happens because the calculation makes all the math before consider the cumulation (the cumulation happens just before the number be shown on the screen).
It has similar behavior as the scenario 1 of KBA 2593540, where the order of the calculation affects its result.
There is no technical error. The system works as expected.
