3000816 - Modifying dimension links removes selected widgets in linked analysis in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

Modifying the dimension links between models will cause any linked analysis charts / tables which use the "Specific Widget" option to have all the specific widgets unchecked.  This does not affect linked analysis that use any of the "All Widgets" options.

  • SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise) 2020.21.6

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create a story with two models and link them using a dimension
  2. Create two charts and link them with a linked analysis.   Use the "Specific widget" option
  3. Modify the link from #1 in any way
  4. Note that the linked analysis no longer works as the selected widgets have become unchecked
