3000496 - "Equal to" parameter does not work properly in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

Symptom

  • "Equal to" operator does not work properly when adding multiple values in SAP Analytics Cloud. 
  • It is used when creating new query based on import data connection and entering for instance multiple values like: x1;x2;x3.
  • It works fine when using single value. 

Environment

SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise) 2020.21.8

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Logon to SAC.
  2. Create a new model and in the "Build a query" section use "Equal to" operator to filter your data.
  3. Use multiple values with the following syntax: x1;x2;x3.
  4. Notice that after the model creation, the data is not being pulled as per the defined operator, it does not consider all the values.
