User is able to logon to SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) even through the SAML attributes are not mapping
Environment
- SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise) 2020.14.29
Reproducing the Issue
- Enable SAML SSO for SAC tenant.
- Enable dynamic user creation while configuring SAML SSO.
- Create a new user in IDP, set attribute Email = test1@test.com
- Logon to SAC via this user, then this user will be created automatically in SAC tenant.
- Check this user in SAC tenant, find only NameID is mapped between SAC and the IDP.
- Email of this user in SAC is showing test2@test.com, however this user still able to logon to SAC successfully through this SAML IDP.
Cause
This issue is currently under investigation by development.
