2995872 - "Cannot invoke "org.eclipse.core.resources.IFile.exists()" because "f" is null" during new CDS Data Definition creation

Symptom

A new CDS Data Definition has to be created via ADT in Eclipse.

All of the parameters are filled but error "Cannot invoke "org.eclipse.core.resources.IFile.exists()" because "f" is null" is raised when click on next.

Environment

On lower releases than ABAP Development Tools (ADT) version 3.16.
