2994478 - How to Check if a User exists in SAC - People Analytics

Symptom

  • User is unable to successfully create a new Story report.  The page is stuck in a blank loading screen or errors are displayed

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite
SAP SuccessFactors People Analytics

Resolution

You can use the Check Tool for validation:

  1. Type Check Tool in Admin Center Tool Search 
  2. Select Reporting from the drop-down menu
  3. Select Configuration >  Availability of user record for People Analytics
  4. Click Run button
  5. Enter user ID or name
  6. Click Run button
  7. There will be a message in the next screen about the user's status.  If there is an issue you will see "1 issue found".  Click on that link.
  8. The Detailed Results screen will display the Status and the Proposed Solution.  In most cases it will be to run IPS sync.
