Symptom
- After applying a data model or configuration change, e.g. field label or name change in the object definition etc., the change is not visible for existing Story queries or saved datasource.
- There is no issue when creating a New Story query
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors People Analytics
Story
Cause
This is a known issue - when there are configuration or metadata changes, these are not reflected to existing Story report queries. This is now being worked on by SAC engineering team. The fix is tentatively scheduled for b2105 or 1H 2021.
Resolution
For now as workaround, whenever there are data model / MDF configuration changes, the query must be recreated or the specific object that was modified must be removed from query or datasource designer and then added back to the query for the changes to be visible in Story.
