2987260 - Linked Analysis doesn't work when using Measure Input Control in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

Symptom

The following error occurs in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) when filtering on linked analysis charts:

  • [planning:ObjectNameXXXXX was not found in the data source]

Environment

  • SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise) 2020.14.29

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Logon to SAC tenant and create a new story with one model.
  2. Create two charts on the model. (in this case linked analysis is used, two charts from different models and linked with each other.)
  3. Set chart1 to Linked Analysis on the other one(chart2).
  4. Create a new Measure Input Control with the measure from model1. (create measure input control1 on measure1)
  5. Add measure input control1 to chart1, select any column in chart1, then following error happens in chart2:
[planning:ObjectNameXXXXX was not found in the data source]
  6. Remove measure input control1 in chart1 and add measure1 to it, then linked analysis works fine between two charts.
