Symptom

(AS Java) SAP NetWeaver Application Server for Java User Management Engine (UME) Import fails with error:

Error: Group <group name> does not exist: UME User import error
*********************************

In the Security Troubleshooting Wizard traces, the error: Status after search is "0" can be seen:

*********************************
* looking for: "USER" on all repositories.
* Using AND mode without size limit.
* com.sap.security.core.usermanagement|->PRINCIPAL_TYPE_ATTRIBUTE EQUALS USER (case sensitive)
* com.sap.security.core.usermanagement|->uniquename EQUALS <user name> (not case sensitive)
***************************************************************************
"Status after search is "0", result is "Size=1 [USER.CORP_LDAP.<user name>]".
