Symptom
The job dependency is lost after import the Model from one tenant to another in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
Environment
- SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise) 2020.21
Reproducing the Issue
- In source tenant, create a model and define at least two import jobs.
- In the schedule setting, setup the dependency for the two import jobs to make them run one by one.
- Go to Deployment -> Export, export the model with its dependency to tgz file.
- In target tenant, go to Deployment -> Import, upload this tgz file and do the import.
- Check the import model, find the import jobs are imported well with correct dependency at this moment.
- Go to the Schedule setting and change the frequency and save the change. E.g. Change it from None to Once.
- Go to Deployment -> Import, upload this tgz file and do the import again.
- In the import option, check on Update existing object
- After import completed successfully, go to check the import job of the model again.
- Find that the job dependency is lost.
Cause
This issue is currently under investigation by development.
