Symptom

  • Import Content from a .tgz file fails to import models in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
  • The error shows the model already exists, but the model actually does not exist in the SAC tenant

 

Environment

  • SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise) 2020.15

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log in SAC tenant
  2. Choose Menu Deployment > Import
  3. Upload the .tgz file which was exported from another tenant
  4. Choose "Upload existing object" option
  5. Models fail to import into the tenant. The error shows the model already exists, but the model actually does not exist.
  6. All other type of objects are successfully imported.

Cause

This issue is currently under investigation by development.
