When editing a Job Profile, if you delete an existing Competency and immediately add it back to the Profile, an error occurs when trying to save it: "An application error occurred. Please try again later, or notify support if the issue keeps occurring.".

Reproducing the Issue
- Go to "Manage Job Profiles";
- Open any Job Profile;
- Scroll down to the "Competencies" section;
- Click in the "Edit" button;
- Uncheck the box of a Competency that is already added to the Job Profile and then check the box again;
- Hit the "Save" button;
- Then hit the "I have finished" button;
- See the error message popping-up on the top of the page:
If you run into "Application error" while trying to save the job profile, please click on the cancel button, and try to edit the Job Profile again.
This time, either map or unmap a Competency from the Job Profile. Do not unmap and map the same competency in the same workflow.
As for the next steps towards permanent fix of this issue, there is a planned patch, but there are no release dates for it, yet.
As soon as release dates are disclosed, this KBA will be updated.
