Symptom

The field "Email Subject" no longer shows up within a sales order email output item after CE2008.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud CE2008 and upper version

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open a sales order with an output item whose channel is 'Email'.
  2. Double click the output item.
  3. It's found that the field "Email Subject" no longer shows up after CE2008 upgrade.

Cause

The field "Email Subject" was removed on purpose. Through corresponding reporting it's found barely no customer was using this functionality.

Resolution

It's removed by design. Instead of using this field, it's recommended to set the email subject only in the email template.
