2960744 - Personal Data Collection tile in external user home page is redirecting to SOURCE post refresh

Symptom

When logging into the instance as external candidate, clicking the personal data collection tile in the homepage is redirecting to production URL post refresh via Instance Refresh Tool.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login to the instance as an external candidate.
    2. Click on the "Personal Data Collection" tile in homepage.
    3. Tile redirects to Production URL.

Resolution

This is currently a known issue for refreshes via instance refresh tool.

Our Engineering team is currently working on a patch to fix the issue. Further updates will be provided on this KBA regarding the schedule on when the patch will be release.

For the meantime, a workaround available is for our internal team to execute a script in the affected instance to correct the URL Redirect for the "Personal Data Collection" tile. 

Please open a case under "LOD-SF-PLT-IRT" and provide the following.

  1. Confirmation that the affected instance was refreshed via IRT. Please provide RefreshID by downloading the error log from SOURCE > Actions column > Ellipses button.
  2. CompanyID affected
  3. Customer approval to run the script on the affected instance
