Reproducing the Issue
2 ways to create and receive job alerts in RMK:
1. Create alerts via search keywords
a. Candidate go to Career site
b. Search a Keyword
c. Click “Create Alert”
2. Opt-in to “Receive new job posting notifications”
a. Candidate apply to a job
b. Create an account
c. Opt-in to “Receive new job posting notifications”
Resolution
The result for these 2 options are the same. For the 1st option (Create alerts via search keywords), the job alerts will be based on the search keyword the candidate has entered prior to creating the job alerts.
While for the 2nd option (Opt-in to “Receive new job posting notifications”), job alerts will be based to the job title (job title will act as the keyword) where the candidate has applied and created the candidate account (with or without searching for a keyword).
Both options will capture these job alerts for the candidate. Candidate will be able to see the list of job alerts they have when they access their profile and go to Options menu -> Job alerts. These job alerts will be a list of jobs based on the keyword (and/or job location) of the jobs searched as keywords or applied to.
For implementation partners, they may view the list of job alerts available for candidates via RMK Command Center -> User (Public) -> Agents.
Note: These 2 ways to create and receive job alerts in RMK is also applicable for Quick Apply job requisitions.
