2957681 - E-mail Activity Created From Workflow Rule Does Not Have Sent On Date

Symptom

You have a workflow rule that sends an e-mail and an e-mail activity is created.Sent On field is empty in the  e-mail activity created from the workflow rule.

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to Activities workcenter.
  2. Navigate to E-mail view.
  3. Open Email Activity ABC(where ABC is the e-mail activity created from an existing workflow rule).

The Sent On field is empty.

Resolution

The Sent On date is not filled presently when e-mail activities are created via Workflow. We have taken this up and this will be available in 2011 release.
