2956862 - Data is missing on new bookmark in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

Symptom

After creating a new bookmark from a story where data is already displayed using an existing bookmark, the new bookmark doesn't display data on some widgets of the story.

Environment

  • SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise) 2020.8.22

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log into the customer tenant.
  2. Open the afected story and the data is displayed on the first page.
  3. Go to Bookmark icon > Open Saved Boookmarks then selec an existing bookmark and the data is refreshed according to that bookmark.
  4. Create a new bookmark using 'Bookmark current state'. Choose a name and save (the issue occurs in both personal & global bookmarks)
  5. Open the newly created bookmark. All data on some afected widgets is now gone. Although weirdly enough the data in other widgets still remains. 

Cause

This issue is currently under investigation by development.
