Symptom

Top jobs page is a standard part of RMK platform that is responsible for what we call auto-generated SEO pages. Such pages are created automatically based on searches that successfully lead to the RMK site.

Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Marketing (RMK)

Resolution

System administrators have now the ability to turn off Top Jobs through the new switch called NoIndex Top Jobs. However, in case the customer wants to keep enabled SEO pages generation, SEO Settings in CSB allows the system user to specify terms to demote and/or avoid.

Terms to Demote

Terms you include in this field are automatically demoted to the end of the result set. Start each new term/phrase in a new line, and don't include the word "job" in your terms (for example, use "technical recruiter" instead of "technical recruiter jobs

Terms to Avoid

When you add terms in this field, Career Site Builder adds a noindex value to prevent search engines from indexing them, and also suppresses them from being part of the Top Jobs results.

We can see the top jobs pages created by appending /topjobs/ term after the site URL.
