I am trying to add one custom field inside a custom MDF object definition but I am getting the following error message: You are adding too many NUMBER-typed fields (limit is 100). You cannot exceed this limit.
Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.

- Metadata Framework (MDF)
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Configure Object Definition;
- Open a definition of a custom MDF object;
- Start adding custom fields, and after adding 100, you try to add a new one and get the following error message:
The custom MDF objects have a hardcoded limit of custom fields set to 100. Although the message says "NUMBER-typed" fields, this limit applies to all the custom field types (such as FO/GO/Pickllist/Number/boolean), so it means that you have achieved the limit of custom fields at all.
https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2438887At this moment, the limit of custom fields is set to 100, and it is hardcoded, so there is no way to add more custom fields to your object definition and also there is no way to raise the limit number.
