2950495 - Unable to launch JAM from the SuccessFactors home page tile

Symptom

  • Receiving the error "Please try again later or contact your system administrator." when opening JAM from the home page tile
  • JAM tile in SuccessFactors home page is showing "error occured" message

Environment

  • SAP Jam Collaboration
  • SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to your SuccessFactors home page
  2. Click to open the JAM tile
    • Error "Please try again later or contact your system administrator." received
  3. Then, try to open JAM from home page dropdown menu
    • JAM opens successfully

Resolution

This is a known issue being investigated by the Engineering team. The route cause has been encountered and they are currently working on a code fix to avoid this behaviour.

As of now, there is a workaround available, which is for users to access JAM through the dropdown menu.

This KBA will be updated as soon as a patch/fix date is defined.
