Symptom

  • ASE starts with the 'max memory' value higher than the 'max memory' configuration parameter is set to in the .cfg file. Why?
  • ASE errorlog reports the following messages:

The current 'max memory' value '27136000' is less than the 'total logical memory' value '27726565'. ASE has increased the value of configuration parameter 'max memory' to '27726565' to enable boot.
