Symptom

The following behaviour occurs in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC):

  • Referencial Axis alignment is lost after refreshing story or changing page in SAP Analytics Cloud
  • The first row in a column is misaligned and can be resolved by changing "Chart Orientation" in the "Designer" tab, but is lost after reloading the story

Environment

  • SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise) 2020.8.9

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log in to SAP Analytics Cloud
  2. Open a story with a Table using a Reference / Referencial Axis
  3. Observe the alignment of the first row does not align with the rest of the column
  4. Navigate to the Designer tab
  5. Change "Chart Orientation" from "Horizontal" to "Vertical" and back to "Horizontal"
  6. Observe issue is temporarily resolved
  7. Refresh browser or story and observe the issue persists
