Symptom

Only 4 filters are visible while creating a new Dashboard

Environment

Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

You are following below steps to create new dashboard :-

  • Go to Business Analytics
  • Select Design Dashboard
  • Click on new and enter the details "Dashboard Name", Select the type of "Authorization" required.
  • In the next step you will see only 4 filters for dashboard.

Cause

This is default system behavior, which allows only 4 filters to be chosen.

Resolution

You can minimise the use of filters here or else can use one filter for multiple tiles in the dashboard.
