Customer requires functionality to submit partial recurring leaves for Maternity and Paternity leaves (including non-working days).
For this you are using Recurring absence option, in order to record multiple partial leaves in a single absence.
However, the non-working days as per user's work schedule are not being considered / saved.
- Time Type has set Allow Requesting on Non-working Days to Yes.
- Time Type has no associated Time Account Type (this is also not possible for time types with time account types assigned, using absence counting method to consider non-working days).

Reproducing the Issue
1. Create a leave request for Time Type selecting "Recurring" leave checkbox for "0.5 " days (Monday - Sunday)
2. Only 5 absences (Monday - Friday) are saved in workbench.
This is not supported with current system functionality.
Workaround: Create and assign a new work schedule to add Saturday and Sunday / non working days as working days while they are on this type of leave.
Engineering are working on enhancing the functionality to support this requirement.
