2927413 - No-Show (NS)event is not mapped to an inactive hiring action

Symptom

By enabling the reporting of "No Show" employees in SF EC instance (EC documentation for reference here: Reporting No-Show New Hires), employees that ignore their signed contracts and don’t show up to start work can be consider as "no-show" and have their status set to inactive. The Take Action -> Report No-Shows action is available only for a period of 30 days after the hire date of the employee. If a no-show is reported after the 30-day mark, that can be done in the Job History UI.

Before b2005, the integration with ECP systems was not able to handle such scenarios as described in the following KBA:

2863271 - No Show event in SF EC results in EC Payroll replication error: Do not add more than 1 employment status changing actions at same day dd.mm.yyyy

Now, after feature PAY-7127 was released, the "No Show" event can be replicated to ECP. However, without performing some adjustments on ECP, the following error is returned when "No Show" employees are replicated:

  • No-Show (NS)event is not mapped to an inactive hiring action.
  • Message No. HRSFEC_SERVICES293

Additionally, if you have configured the EC Data Type 'Event' as I (Identical), or SI (SAP and Identical), or CI (Customer and Identical) on table T77SFEC_CVPROPC, this leads to the assumption that the feature for "No-Show" is activated on the Employee Central Payroll side.
