Symptom

The translation data failed to be imported when importing a model with translation data by .tgz file.

Environment

2020.10.0

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Enable the translation data for a model.
  2. In Browser->Translation page, the translation data for the model is listed.
  3. Select the translation then click the Edit icon.
  4. Add the translation data and Save.
  5. In Deployment->Export page, add a new export job by selecting the translated model.
  6. Search the model and export it as .tgz file.
  7. In the Browser->Translation page, select the previous translation and click the Delete icon. 
  8. In the Deployment->Import page,  click the Upload icon then select the exported .tgz source file and upload it.
  9. Import the model with the Update existing object option.
  10. After the operation finished successfully, check the translation data of the model is not be imported.

Cause

The issue is currently under investigation by development team.
