2922348 - Wrong SQL Driver Selection during Reporting and QMS VU installation

Symptom

  • Unable to upgrade reporting databases
  • BCM_Reporting_server_install_db.txt log shows the following errors:
    • Temporary directory used: E:\SAP\ContactCenter\logs\XX_ReportingDB\
    • Checking SQL Server connection: SERVER=SERVERNAME\INSTANCE;DATABASE=master
    • Microsoft SQL Server is not installed or not running or invalid database name/SQL account/password.

  • Installation logs show:
    • TRC> ODBCConnection [02B6D950]: ODBC connection failed
    • ERR> Failed to connect to database destination [SERVERNAME\INSTANCE - CUSTOMER_DSArea] using [Driver=SQL Server;Server=SERVERNAME\INSTANCE;Database=CUSTOMER_DSArea;Trusted_Connection=no;UID=<protected>;PWD=<protected>
