2921453 - Version dimension is not able to sort in SAP Analytics Cloud for Planning (SAC)

Symptom

Version dimension is not able to sort at all.

Environment

SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise)

Cause

Currently, the sorting of version dimension is not supported.

In future, we will enable version sort for:

Enable A-Z,Z-A
Enable Custom Sort
Default with existing logic: Category A-Z (Actual, Budget, Forecast, Planning, Rolling Forecast) and then Versionname A-Z

Forecast Layout: Sum of the forecast layout will always stay on the right.
In the future consider rename version and version alias

Resolution

This limitation is under review and planned in future release of SAP Analytics Cloud. There is no exact timeline at the moment.
It is recommended to follow this idea to be informed of any new updates.
