2915115 - S/4HC: Error message encountered when extending suppliers to customers.

Symptom

Environment

SAP S/4HANA CLOUD

Reproducing the Issue

Via Migration Template:

  1. Open app Migrate your Data.
  2. Click on Migration Project. For e.g.: Test customer extend
  3. Choose template Customer - extend existing record by new org levels.
  4. Click Start Transfer.

Via Manage Business Partner Master Data App.

  1. Go To App Manage Business Partner Master Data.
  2. Go To Business Partner. For e.g: 9980000090.
  3. Scroll to "Roles".
  4. Click Create.
  5. Select FLCU00 ("Customer (Fin.Accounting)".
  6. Click save.
  7. The error message "Unable to load data" occurs.

Cause

Configuration error.

Resolution

  1. Ensure that the BP Grouping used to create the Supplier is maintained in SSCUI 102742 or for Customers in SSCUI 102741- Define Number Assignment for Direction BP to Customer. (Only the account group can be edited, to add new BP groupings in SSCUI 102741 or 102742 a non-standard expert configuration would be needed)
  2. Ensure BP Grouping used to create the Supplier is maintained for the Customer Account Group maintained in the migration file.
  3. Ensure that all of the customers & suppliers in the migration template file already exist.
