A new active business partner deletion run shall delete all individual customers that have the status 'Obsolete' for a certain period of time.
The job is running but not deleting any individual customers, although relevant records exist.
When checking the last deletion run logs, the results show "no private account found as per selection criteria".

The issue might be caused by an application error.
In general, a business partner deletion run can fail due to a system error, or due to an application error. Application errors on obsolete business partners are quite rare. In the past, it happened that the system tagged system errors as application errors. This incorrect system behavior has been solved by a software correction. However, this correction only avoids further issues. It does not change the status of already existing, incorrectly tagged records.
Records with correctly tagged application errors need to be processed on customer side. Affected business partners will not be picked up by the automated business partner deletion run again. The application error needs to be solved on customer side. The business partners can only be removed manually.
Records with incorrectly tagged application errors need to be corrected manually. Please open an incident out of the relevant system with reference to this knowledge base article, so that support can involve development directly.
