In execution manager dashboard, the benefit auto enrollment job shows below response and fails to update/create benefit enrollment for such employee:
Error ligible,Save Failed, Batch Execution Fai
SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central: Employee Benefits
Reproducing the Issue
Run benefit auto enrollment job > check execution manager dashboard results file > you can see error in results as - Error ligible,Save Failed, Batch Execution Fa
This type of issue occurs for benefits with payroll integration = Yes.
When the auto enrollment job runs the 'Recurring Deduction' and 'Recurring Information for Benefit Integration' object gets created and then 'Benefit Enrolment' object will be tried to create, in case of exception during enrolment creation, the system do not roll back the created 'Recurring Information for Benefit Integration' object, causing the orphaned integration object and this error when you try to modify enrollment at a later stage.
Workaround: Customer would need export and find 'Recurring Information for Benefit Integration' with no benefit enrollment ID within it and delete them manually and run the auto enrollment job again.
Engineering is meanwhile working for an enhanced behavior within the product via engineering ticket #BEN-5012 which will be made available in coming releases. Please track BEN-5012 in release summary for knowing exact delivery of this functionality.
