Symptom

  • The error came from SWPM ora_sql_results.log
    STARTUP NOMOUNT;
    exit;
    Output of SQL executing program:
    SQL*Plus: Release 12.2.0.1.0 Production on
    Copyright (c) 1982, 2016, Oracle. All rights reserved.
    ERROR:
    ORA-12547: TNS:lost contact
    SP2-0751: Unable to connect to Oracle. Exiting SQL*Plus
    SAPINST: End of output of SQL executing program /oracle/<SID>/<version>/bin/sqlplus.
    SAPINST found errors.
    SAPINST The current process environment may be found in sapinst_ora_environment.log.
    <time stamp> SAPINST ORACLE stop logging
  • call sqlplus directly will also report ORA-12547
