You're unable to add custom fields in Edit mode in your S4HC production system.

Reproducing the Issue
- Logon with role CUSTOMER_SRVC_MGR in a production system
- Display a Service Order. The option "Adapt UI" is available
- Edit the Service Order, you cannot add custom fields. Missing the options "Adapt UI"
This is the intendeed behavior. "Manage Service Orders" app (an another apps like "Manage Service Quotations") are using two different technologies
- Display Mode (FIORI)
- Edit Mode (CRM Web UI).
Systems with role "Production" don't allow the usage of button "Adapt UI" in Edit Mode.
Ideally the changes should be made in the development system and transported to production system."Adapt UI "will not be available in WebUI(edit mode) in production system. The changes should be transported from T and Q systems.
