2878410 - No upload to Maintenance Planner because of unknown installation number when uploading system from LMDB in SAP Solution Manager 7.2

Symptom

It's not possible to upload the system from LMDB to SAP Support Portal manually. Errors/warnings reported are:

Uploading system data using channel SERVICECONNECTIONS
Data is uploaded to SAP Support Portal successfully.
Warning occurs when uploading data to Maintenance Planner.
No upload to Maintenance Planner because of unknown installation number.
The system constellation is empty.
