You are attempting to view the current scope and unable to access this function in Business Configuration. The View Active Scope button is not visible.
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Business Configuration
- Select Overview view
- Go to Buinsess Configurtaion
- Select Implememtation Projects
- There is no active Change Project
View Active Scope button is visible based on the below scenarios:
Case A: In a Production tenant the "First Implementation" Project can be set to Live. During this process the active First Implementation project(main workspace) is set to invisible and cannot be seen any more on the Implementation Projects workcenter view. Therefore the View Active Scope button becomes visible on the Implementation Projects work center view and the Overview view under Business Configuration workcenter.
Case B: This is also valid if you copy the Production Tenant to a Test Tenant (full copy). In general the button View Active Scope should be available on both work center Views in Test Tenant as well.
Note: The "View Active Scope" button is only available if the main active workspace has System Purpose 4 (productive) and is invisible.
You have copied a remote Change Project into this test tenant. During this copy process, this Change Project becomes the main (active) workspace. The old First Implementation Project with system purpose 4 (productive) is not main anymore.
For such Change Projects the View Active Scope button is generally not available as the change project is never hidden. This is expected behavior.
In this case, if the you want to check the current scope the customer can select the visible change project and press button View Project Scope. As the Change Project is the main workspace, View Project Scope is the same as View Active Scope.
If you want to check the current Finetuning the customer can go to the Activity List of the change project. There you may select All Activities.
