2866230 - Error Message with the User ID in My Timesheet App

Symptom

In the S/4 HANA Cloud App Mt Time Sheet the following errors appear:

  • "User ID does not exist for user"

Environment

  • SAP S/4HANA Cloud
  • Time Sheet (S/4 CLD)

Reproducing the Issue

  1.   Access the App: Manage My Timesheet
  2.   Try to create a Time entry
  3.  The error message appear. 

Cause

This is an authorization issue; the SAP_CMD_BC_BP_DISP_PC Business catalogue it is missing from your user.

Resolution

If you are using customer role, copied from the standard role SAP_BR_EMPLOYEE, please make sure that the SAP_CMD_BC_BP_DISP_PC Business catalogue is assigned.

This catalogue is linked to the standard role SAP_BR_EMPLOYEE.

If restrictions has been created in the role, make sure that the Authorization Group for Business Partners is maintained. Blanck value is not considered, please set unrestricted instead or specified the desired values.

Also the value in "Read, Value Help" has to be set to "000000" - "Business Partner (Gen.)" to enable time recording again and solve the issue.

If the user has role SAP_BR_BILLING_CLERK it's necessary to use temporary workaround: remove the catalog SAP_S4CRM_BC_CUST_CONT_DSP_PC from role SAP_BR_BILLING_CLERK. The role will be fix  in CE2002.
